This is the second week of class after one month winter break. To be honest, I was not excited going back to study mode and I'm still not. I'm very comfortable staying in my room, doing nothing. However, my winter term almost come to the end. After two more weeks, I'll done with New Media Communications, Management Theories and Philosophies, and The Retailing and Consumption Of Fashion Brand. The spring term will come after 2 weeks break. Break againnnnnnn! Yahoooooooo! I just heard this great news last Friday from Henry. A great way to start class from break, which is more BREAKKKKKK.

Nonetheless, the end of term means submission of assignments. My submission date for Fashion Brand is on March 2nd, Mgt Theories Part A on March 4th, New Media Communications on March 16th, Developing The Professional on March 30th and the Part B of Mgt Theories haven't yet out. Even though March is still distance away, I got to start working on those assignment because this week I'm going to Milannnnnnn, the next 2 weeks I'll be going to Frankfurtttttttt and a week after that I'll be going to Birminghammmmmm and in early March I'll be going to Londonnnnnnn and 2 weeks after that I'll be going to Greeceeeeeeee.

All my assignments are there, in the GlamLearn. It works almost like uitm student portal but much advance. The module overview, the learning materials, the learning resources, the reading materials, the assignments, my grades, timetables and the announcements are all there. There is e-mail too. Everything is under one website. Besides that, I can communicate with my lecturers and the rest of my classmates too using the portal. There is one section which is called Communication & Tools in every course that I'm taken. So if I need to contact someone in my class and I don't have his contact details, I just need to click his name in the communication and I can communicate with him using e-mail. Easy right? & every assignment needs to submit through the portal as well. No more printing and papers.

Making A Dream Come True.

When I was a small kid, I have many dreams. Some are realistic, and some are ridiculous. What can you expect from a kid? They imagine anything. One of my dreams is travelling all over the world. I want to visit every country in this world, and I'm still do. So far, I've been to Indonesia, Jordan, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Spain. Since I'm now in UK, I want to grab the chances to explore every country in Europe. It is much cheaper to fly from here rather than from Kuala Lumpur. For instance, the return ticket to Barcelona only costs 40 pound from London, which is approximately RM200. That was the same costs my father spent on my one way flight ticket to Kuching, when I was still studying in Kuching. So who don't want to grab this chance? Let's get real here, thought the travelling every countries in Europe won't happen, I still can try, right? There are 70 countries in Europe continentant, I'v been to Spain, so minus one is 69 countries. Yeah it won't happen. Haha. I wants to visit as many countries as possible before I go back to Malaysia. I was thinking of visiting one country per month. Baby steps. Thus, last night, I bought flight tickets for me and Azma for our January and February trip. I'm not going to tell you guys where we will be heading. But if you are dying to know, here's a clue. We will be heading to one of the fashion capitals of the world and the country that use Guten Morgen as their good morning wish. That's all from now. Byebye. :)

The First Entry For 2012.

Happy New Year 2012, guys! Today is the third day of 2012 and the clock is showing 11.35 in the morning. It was raining when I woke up this morning, and it is still raining. I am 24 years and 1 day old today.

How did you guys celebrate your new year's eve? Mine? I spent my New Year eve sleeping. It was not yet 10pm, but I was already at the lala land. To be honest, I'm not exactly a night owl. I'm more to a morning person.

Usually before the year ends, I will make a New Year's Resolutions. Last year is not an exception. Even though I know I'm going to break it, still I don't feel good to start a new year without ones. So my 2012 Resolutions are:
1. Stop cursing. I want to be able to say to people that, "I don't curse". Hihi.
2. Grad with Distinction. I will be graduating at the end of this year & I'm hoping to grad with Distinction. I want to make my Mama & Papa proud. Distinction is the top award for Master's Degree.
3. Be a better Muslimah. Hihi. Even though I know it won't happen overnight, I can work at getting even better.

So this is all from now. I want to take wudhuk (ablution) to perform my Zohor pray. May this year bring more happiness in our life. :)

The Last Day Of 2011.

It is almost 9 pm. People in Malaysia already celebrated the new day of 2012. I still have 3 hours to go for 2012. This year, I'll be celebrating my new eve at my own room, watching Two and A Half Men Season 2. What a celebration, huh? I thought I'll be celebrating the new year eve at Manchester. Unfortunately, the plan did not happen as I expected. So here I am, writing about the Last Day Of 2011 entry.

2011 is a special year to me. Lots of new things happened to me. Full of incredible experiences, trips and new people in my life. The best thing that happened in my life is, one of my dream came true. I cannot wait to see what the new year has in store for me. 2012, I'm ready for you. Bring it on!

London & Boxing Day.

Hi guys. I just came back from London for Boxing Day & sight-seeing. If you never heard of Boxing Day before, Boxing Day is a day where you wear boxing gloves and punch your friends. OK I'm just kidding. It is a day after Christmas where shops have sales. The key of Boxing Day is preparation. You need to plan for your shopping trip as there are lots of people searching for amazing bargains. I went for Boxing Day shopping at Oxford Street & Bond Street. The first store that I went is Selfridge. It was only 8.50am when I stood in front of the Selfridge at the Oxford Street but people already queued around the building. It was a very long queue. I don't spend much as I don't find anything interesting. So I saved a lot on the shopping, but I've spent a lot on the accommodation and travel. Yet I don't regret my trip to London as I spent my winter break with two of my favourite girlfriends, Azma & Hana. Hana flew all the way from Ireland to see me. Yeah right! The fact is she flew all the way from Ireland to London for Boxing Day. Still more, she didn't shop a lot. She said she couldn't find anything interesting. She had a same reason as mine. I guess we overrated the Boxing Day. Nevertheless, we walked around the Greater London, visited London top attractions and took many beautiful pictures.

This couple of days, I've been thinking about buying a flight ticket to KL & I've asked Azma to go back with me as well. Thank god she said no. If not, we might be on our way to London to take our flight back to KL. Even though I have been in UK for almost 4 months, I still feel homesick. Last Sept, I was so ready to go back to uni & felt so prepared for the new life in UK. Not surprisingly, I did get homesick. No matter how ready you are to leave, you’re going to miss home. It’s natural & it happens to everyone. & for the moment, I try to keep myself busy so that I don’t feel homesick again.

Barcelona, In My Own Words.

Last week, me and my BFF went to Barcelona. Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain. We took easyjet plane and flew from London Gatwick. The journey took almost 2 hours to reach the destination. We took off at 6.55am and arrived at Barcelona Terminal 2 Airport at 9.55am. But my clock was showing 8.55am when the plane reaches the ground. I was kinda confused when the pilot said that we landed at 9.55am. This is because of the time zone has changed. Spain local time is advance 1 hour from UK time zone. The sun was shine brightly when I got out from the plane. I was very excited to see the sun because it has been cloudy for quite awhile at my place.

Then we took the train to our hostel at Numancia. Unfortunately, we got mix up with the direction that a fine lady gave when we were at the airport. The train went through the Barcelona terminals and we still haven't get off from the train. Luckily we noticed that something was wrong and we asked direction from one of the passenger. We had missed the station that we should get off so we got off at the next station. Then we take the train back to the Barcelona. Then we met an old guy in the train. He is English, but has been living in Barcelona for quite some time. He gave us the direction to our hostel. After got off the train, we had to take tram to go to our hostel. To be honest, this was my first time taking tram. So I kinda excited. Hihi. Then we reached our hostel at 1pm. Unfortunately, we only can check-in at 2pm. So we went to the nearest shopping mall which is only 2 minutes walking from my hostel.

Long story short, we checked-in at 2pm and went out again at 4pm. The first place that we visited in Barcelona was Sagrada Familia. To be honest, that was the only thing that I want to see in Barcelona. So I kinda excited when I saw it.

Then after took lots of photos in front of Sagrada Familia, we wandered around that area. After got bored with that area, we took the train to Catalunya. It was already night when we got there. After wandered around that area, we went back to our hostel.

THE SECOND DAY. Right after taking our breakfast, we went to Jaume. We don't have any plan exactly. We were thinking to go to any museum in that area since it was free for us to enter some of the museums. Then when we tried to find our way to the Museu d'Historia de Catalunya since that is the nearest museum from the station. While we were looking for the direction to the museum, there was one guy greeting us from the back. He is the guy that I saw when I was about to enter the plane to Barcelona. He asked whether he can join us. Since he has a goody face, I said yes. His name is Hannan. He is Brunei. He's studying at Uni of Sussex and staying at Brighton. Then we went all over the Barcelona town until night.

THE THIRD DAY. I cannot recall the station that I took but that station is near to one of the uni in Barcelona. That was the station that we promised to meet Hannan. He was already there when we reached that place. Poor him, he had to wait for us. Then we passed the entrance of the uni to go to one of the park there. I don't know what's that park called, but it was very beautiful. Then we went to Arc de Triompf. After taking photos there, we went to La Pedrera, Casa Battlo, Casa Amatler and there is one place that I cannot recall. Hihi. Then we decided to go to La Ramblas for dinner. After got off the train, I was feeling uneasy and feel like checking my purse. Unfortunately, it wasn't there. I was panic and I don't know what to do. I might drop it somewhere. Then we went to the police station to make a report. It took me 2 hours to make a report. This is because they don't understand English & I need to wait for a translator. Most of the people in Barcelona cannot speak English. They understand English, but they cannot reply back in English. So every time me & Azma asked for a direction, they replied back in Spanish. It was so funny. It was like a cat talking to a dog. Luckily I picked up some Spanish words like Hola : Hello, Gracias : Thank you, Aki : Here, Perdone : Excuse me, Si : Yes, Por Favor : Please, Entrada : Entrance, Sortida : Exit. Yet, I still don't get what they meant most of the time.

THE LAST DAY. We don't visit much in the last day. We went for souvenir shopping and wandered around the town before took our flight back to London.

Barcelona is a great place to visit. To whoever hasn't visit Barcelona yet, I recommend you to go. I also might be going to Barcelona again. :)

Winter Break.

I think my eyes get worse day by day. It is either from excessive utilization of laptop or there's something wrong with my eye liner. Or is it because of my fringe always got into my eyes? Lately almost every day I face the laptop screen at least 12 hours every day. At the end of the day, when I wear eye liner, my eye will transform to be panda eye. I will have black circle around my eyes. Truth story. The eye liner will smear at the end of the day. Sometimes, it went into my eyes. That is another reason why my eyes get worse day by day.

It is officially winter break for me. It just started this week. One month holiday. Yay! Unfortunately, I still have assignment to submit before the break ends. But the due date is 3 weeks from today. Almost all of my classmates are going back to their hometown for this break. Yay for them! As for me, I'm going to Spain. Yay for me! I'll be going with Azma. We'll be leaving Cardiff tomorrow evening to London, then take a flight to Barcelona on Wednesday morning & will be going back to London on Saturday morning and will be reaching Cardiff on Sunday morning. I'm quite excited to go to Spain as I have always been in Cardiff. Others have travel more than I did. These 3 months, I just managed to go to Nottingham & Birmingham. Last Saturday, I went to Birmingham. It was a day trip. I went under Azma's trip. We went to Frankfurt Christmas Market & Cadburys World. Let see what I got for myself from the Christmas Market.

Then we went to the Cadbury World which is one of the the top attraction in the Birmingham. I was hoping that the Cadbury World is kinda the same like Charllie & The Choc Factory movie but unfortunately it wasn't. Yet I still had fun because I got many free choc. Yay! We got choc at almost every section that we went. It was like a self-guided tour around the factory. Not just that, we got to see a short film about the history of Cadbury. It was not like any normal cinema because we had to sit at bench and that bench moves as the chocolate in the movie moves. It was like we are the chocolate. Plus I got to take a ride in Cadabra Train. This is how the Cadabra looks like.

Hey all. How are you guys doing? I'm doing good at the moment. Even though its been a tough week for me, I still survived to the end. The assignment that I mentioned before, I just submitted it last night. Thank God the stress and the pain has been taken away from me. Tonight, I want to give a rest for my body and my mind since tomorrow I have to start working on the business proposal, which need to be submit this Monday. Thank God it is a group work. Even though we start doing it extremely late, I'm sure we will submit it on time.

Today, in the Retailing and Fashion Brand class, everyone need to present their moodboard about The Self Image. The Self Image moodboard need to be divided into 3 columns which are The Actual Self, The Ideal Self and Definately Don't Want To Be. It was interesting because we got to hear what others think of us. This is how my moodboard looks like.

Guilty As Charged.

Good morning, guys. :) What do you usually do when you wake up in the morning? As for me, the first thing that I will do is check my hp, to check the time. Then I will make bed. Then I will on my laptop. Then I will check the weather forecast for that day. I have never checked the weather forecast when I was in Malaysia. Here I have to check the weather to decide my clothing, so I will be well prepare for the weather. It might be cold day or windy day or rainy day. Then I will check my e-mail. Then check my FB, my Twitter & my Glamlife (uni's student portal). However, today, there is an additional. I shopped online. Isn't it weird to shop online at 6 in the morning? This is because of this (the below promotion).

Since I could not find my size at any stores here & can only wears Forever 21 skinny jeans, I always pay a visit at their website to update myself on their new offer. Does that mean UK people are larger than US? Unfortunately, there is only ONE Forever 21 store in the UK, which is in Birmigham, which is 3 hours travel by bus from my place. So every time I want to purchase skinny jean, I will purchase it online. Since it is cheaper to purchase it online rather than to take a coach to Birmingham, dine there, then take a coach back to my place. I was intended to purchase the skinny jean last Saturday since I already got my money pocket for Dec. I already placed the order & ready for the payment, but I try to resist my temptation to shop since I had shopped a lot this month. So what I did was, I just closed the website. I was very proud of myself. You go girl! But I still shopped yesterday when I was out to town with my housemates. Boo! Then when I receive the e-mail from the Forever 21 about their new offer, I was very excited. CYBER MONDAY SALE, FREE SHIPPING? What on my mind was, I can save 4.95 pounds on shipping. YAY! So I purchased the skinny jean that I wanted. Now I'm very happy. Good things happen when you wait. :)

Hello guys. How are u been doing? How's life treating you? Mine? Awesomeness! I have to submit 3000 words critical debate essay by next Friday but I have only wrote 1700 words so far, which i have started one month ago. Is it just me or time runs faster when you start to enjoy your life? By all means, i will finish it.

It already winter in the UK. The temperature keeps decreasing. There was one night that the temperature is 3 degree Celsius. & keep eating without stop. Is it because of the weather or I just love to eat? My class timetable has changed as well as we move to winter term. Now I have two classes in the afternoon. By the time I go back, it is already dark. Eventhough it is only 5 o'clock in the evening. What can you expect if Maghrib is at 4pm? I have three new subjects in the winter term. There are Management Theories and Philosophies, New Media Communication, and Retailing and Consumption of Fashion Brands. The subject that I love so far is Retailing and Consumption of Fashion Brands. Eventhough I have only enter the class once, I know it will get more exciting. As for New Media Communication class, the first task that we need to do is sign up all types of social media. For examples, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Youtube and Linkedin. I have done sign up all those 2 days ago. So guys, follow me on Twitter. :)

As season changed from autumn to winter, I keep buying clothes to prepare myself for the extreme coldness that I have never experience before. Seriously it is just an excuse for shopping. I just love shopping. I just need an excuse to avoid being guilty by shopping a lot. Since I activate my UK debit card, I cannot stop shopping. If I do not go out ( which I did every week), I shop online ( it has been awhile. YAY for me!). Most of the stores in the UK provides shopping online services. They offer price reduction if we get it online. Aren't they clever? They keep sending us e-mail to inform us the new promotion and sales. The offer is so tempting and irresistible. At the end of the month, I only left with some money to survive. I still has not wear most of the clothes in the wardrobe. It only has been 2 months I have been living here, but my wardrobe is already pack and waiting to burst. I need to get a new one. But where should I put it is since my room is so small? Haiya.

Heyya dear bloggers and readers. Sorry I haven't post anything for quite some time. I was very busy and I am still busy with the course works. I have to submit two assignments before the winter break and one assignment during the winter break. Since the assessment is solely from the assignments, I have to give 100% in completing them. It was a good news then when i knew that I do not have to seat on exam and only need to do the course works. But now, everything does not seems like that.

I hope it is not too late for me to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha. The first Eid Aidiladha i celebrated without my family. Frankly, i really miss my family, especially my mom. :(

Yeah last Saturday, me and other MSSG ( Malaysian Students Society Glamorgan) went to Nottingham for Nottingham Malaysian Games. It is an annual event for Nottingham Malaysian Society. I got to see many Malaysian from every side of the UK. It was like in Malaysian. According to one of my friend AJ (2011), "macam kat Malaysia, tapi semua pakai winter coat". I have to quote it to avoid plagiarism. Since it is a serious offence in the UK. Then we went to Nottingham Castle. Unfortunately, we cannot enter the caste since it was already 4pm and nearly to the closing time. But I still had fun took photos outside the castle.

I was lucky; I met Robin Hood. LOL!

I cannot wait for the winter break. My bestfriend and I will be going to the country that speaks Spanish. :)

Trick or Treat?

Yesterday evening, me and my other housemates, Azma & Ieqa and our next door neighbour, Fahmi went to Open House Club (in the Uni) for Pumpkin Carving. It is a tradition to carving pumpkins and set them in the windows of the house on the Halloween ( 31st Oct). Halloween is a celebration primarily in regions of the Western world. On Halloween Day, people usually attending costume parties, trick-or-treating, carving jack-o'-lanterns ( a carved pumpkin), bonfires, apply bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories and watching horror movies. I was so excited because it was my first time ever carving a pumpkin. Plus I met many new friends in the Open House. It was fun and full of laughter. :)

I'm carving my first ever pumpkin. & Ieqa being jelous. haha.

If you're wondering what they're doing, they're digging the hole. Go guys, go! :)

Hello dear bloggers & readers out there! Sorry I haven't post anything for awhile. I've been trying to settle down & adjusting my life in the new atmosphere. Yeah now i'm in the UK. It has been a month. Time flies very fast when you are at the new place, doing new things. You guys out there might be wondering which part of UK is I am living in now right? I am far from London. 3 hours travel with bus plus 30 mins travel with train. & I am not even near England. I'm in Wales! I am living in a town called Pontypridd which is a principal town of Rhondda Cynon Taff, Wales. Pontypridd is also known as Ponty to the local residents & to all Malaysia students that living in Ponty. The best thing about living in Ponty is the capital city of Wales which is Cardiff is nearer, to compare with other town. Do you want to see my new place?

Oh yeah I am feeling like to tell you guys briefly about my university and study. I am studying MSc International Fashion Marketing at University of Glamorgan. Glamorgan Business School is one of the top Business School in Wales. The university is less that 1 minute walking distance from my house. If you guys wondering what my course is all about, i want to tell you guys clearly that it is not about FASHION DESIGNING. Some did assume that I am designing clothing line. I am not, people. I am majoring in Business Administration, how can i further my Masters in designing? I don't even know how to sew. The modules in my course are Developing the Professional, Management Theories and Philosophies, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, The Retailing and Consumption of Fashion Brands, New Media Communications, Trends in Marketing, Research Method and Dissertation Project. For the Autumn Term, I am only taking Developing the Professional and Sustainable Supply Chain Management. The university has divided the subjects by the term. So I have lots of free time. Can you imagine that I only have classes on Monday Morning and Wednesday Afternoon? But I already signed up for English classes. It is starting today. Yeah no more free time! This is the first time I glad that i have many classes. Ironic huh? Most of my classmates are international students. They are from British itself, Romania, Guyana, Saudi Arabia, Iran, China and Malaysia (me!). & there is only ONE guy. They all very nice.So far, everything went well. Less than a week, i will be flying to London with my father. To be exact, i will be flying next Monday at 10am. It's gonna be my fourth trip. Unlike my prior trips, it is for study purposes, not a visit trip. I will be staying in the UK about a year and might only coming back to Malaysia at 2013 since my visa is valid until January 2013. I never thought i'll stepping my feet at London City again after my last trip which is 15 years ago. Dear father, thank you for accompanying me to the UK. It would be nice if mother, sister and late brother can join us like old times.

I have been waited for Final Destination 5 since June and it is now showing in the cinema. I just watched it. Unexpected ending. I give it 4/5. Whoever hasn't watch it, go watch it!

Hello bloggers and readers. I'm sorry i haven't been able to post anything for quite some time. I've been busy this whole week. Nothing much happened this week. It's just visa application take most of my time. And The Sims Social too. hihi. I've been to here and there to get the documents needed to apply for the visa. I should submit the visa application on Wednesday afternoon, but due to unavoidable event, i cannot make it on time. The UK Visa Application Centre is already closed when i arrived. Very frustrating. Then i came back again on Thursday hoping that i can submit my application. Unfortunately, there are several errors on my Bank Letter. Thank God that staff mentioned it to me. If i submit my application, for sure it will be rejected and I will lose RM1 301 .Can you believe that to apply Tier 4 Student Visa, it costs me RM1 301? Then i have to reapply and pay again. The Bank Letter will only be prepared by the bank on next Wednesday due to some technical problems. The visa processing normally takes 3-4 weeks. I should register with the university exactly one month from today. I might not be able to fly on time. Only if i apply earlier. :(

Lesson To Be Learned : Never Wait Until The Last Minute!
